Weekly Update - 19th Nov onwards!

Tues 20th Nov: Feminist Book Group
Discussion of Man Made Language by Dale Spender. 7pm, The Feminist Library, free!

Tues 20th Nov: Underwire Festival
Opening night for the Underwire Festival, which is a short film festival dedicated to showcasing the raw cinematic talents of women, running from 20th-24th November. Ritzy Picturehouse, Brixton, times and prices vary.

Tues 20th Nov: London International Transgender Day of Remembrance
A remembrance ceremony and celebration of transgendered people across the world. A collaboration between Translondon, Birkbeck College SU, Camden LGBT Forum and the University of London Union. University of London Union, Malet St, 7pm, free.

Weds 21st Nov: International Day of Action for Legal Abortion in Ireland
The Socialist Party is organising a day of action and protest outside the Irish Embassy, London. 9am, free.

Thurs 22nd Nov:
Education for Choice is having their 20th birthday party! Resistance Gallery, 7pm, £5 for adults/£3 for concessions.

Fri 23rd Nov: Reclaim the Night banner making session! Birkbeck, 8pm, free!

Sat 24th Nov: Hyenas in Petticoats
Heritage walk and talk on women's suffrage! Temple station start, 1pm, free!

Sat 24th Nov: Reclaim the Night Pre-March Social! Booksale, agit prop, zines, fun! Feminist Library, 2pm, free!

Sat 24th Nov: Reclaim the Night March for women's rights to walk freely. Time TBC, central London, free!

Sun 25th Nov: Support Women in Sport!
Event & film screening to support female Afghan boxers - Body Studios, EC2, 3pm, £5 or £3 for concessions.

Mon 26th Nov: Lecture from M.V. Lee Badgett
Lecture entitled 'When Gay People Get Married', co-hosted by the Gender Institute, the Student Union LGBTQ Alliance and LSE Spectrum. London School of Economics, 6.30pm, free!

Thurs 29th Nov - Sun 1st Dec: London Feminist Film Festival
Fab array of feature films and shorts at the Hackney Picture House. Prices and times vary.

NEW: Thurs 29th Nov: Pussy Riot Night
Royal Holloway Feminist Society, Amnesty International and Art Soc presents "Pussy Riot" open-mic night at the Stumble Inn, in aid of the Tatiana Giraud Foundation. 9pm, Stumble Inn, donations.

NEW: Thurs 29th Nov: Tribute to the Women's Library
Come and see 'Treasures of the Women's Library'. Some events outside too, like singing, a film projection, possible veggie food van, a giant letter to LSE to sign. 6pm, Women's Library, free.!/events/491500030890648/

NEW: Sat 1st Dec: Feminist Social Bash
Raising some much appreciated funds to help organise a March event for Women's History Month, and the big feminism in London conference to happen in October 2013. 2pm, Feminist Library, donations.

Mon 3rd December: Lecture from Robyn Wiegman
Lecture from Robyn Wiegman, co-hosted by The Feminist Theory Journal Annual Lecture, co-hosted by the LSE Gender Institute, with support from LSE Sticerd. London School of Economics, 6.30pm, free - registration necessary.

Tues 4th December: London Feminist Network Monthly Meeting
